Community Resources in Kingman County

KAMI Food Bank: Open Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

                                Located in the south entrance of the Presbyterian Church

Assistance is available to Kingman county residents. For qualifying individuals groceries are available once a month and bill assistance once every six months (up to half the bill; $100 max). KAMI also has an annual school supply giveaway, Community Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas Basket giveaway, and chaplain services.

 

Transient assistance is also available as needs can be met in conjunction with the Kingman Police Department. Please contact the Police Department in person or at 620.532.3138.

Understanding Grief Support Group: Wednesdays at 3:00 p.m.

Provided free of charge. It is an 11-week support group for persons who are ready to explore grief through interaction and reflection by trained grief counselor, Chaplain Jeffery Jones.
