Ministries

 

In fulfilling the church's purpose, the various ministries of the church are divided up into connecting, growing, serving, and sharing ministries.  Everyone has a place to develop a relationship with Jesus through these opportunities.

Connect
And all who are connected with the God of Israel will have a robust, praising, good life in God.

  • Blended worship at 10:30 a.m. Sunday mornings

  • Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. Sunday mornings

    • Adult: Searchers class (meets in youth room upstairs)

    • Adult: Fellowship class (meets in parlor)

    • Children 0-5: Little Lambs (meets on stage in fellowship hall.  For more information, click here)

    • Children K-6th grade (meets in fellowship hall.  For more information, click here)

  • Fellowship time after worship with coffee and cookies

  • Chancel choir (meets Wednesdays at 7:00 during the school year)

  • Boy Scout Troop 740 (www.boyscouttroop470.org)

  • Children's Choir (meets Wednesdays at 3:20pm during the school year)

  • Family meal on Wednesdays at 5:30 following Kids Group

Serve

  • Local Missions

    • Neighbor Helping Neighbor

      • Contact Wanda Daniel (620-314-0288)

    • KAMI Food Bank donations and volunteer

    • Host Red Cross Blood Drives

    • Provides assistance to 6th & 8th grade classes at KEMS

    • Host 5th Quarter after every home football and basketball game

  • Mission Trips

    • Multiple offerings each year to serve God and neighbor

    • Most recent trip was to Good Works, Inc. in Athens, Ohio. (www.good-works.net)

Weekday and evenings Bibles Studies

  • Young Adults Study: Wednesdays at 6:30 in fellowship hall

  • High School Bible Study:  Wednesdays at 6:00 in Youth Center

  • Pastor Patrick's Bible Study - Thursdays at 1:00 p.m.

    • Meets at Wheatlands Health Care Center

  • Youth Group (for more information click here)

  • Children's Choir (for more information, click here)

    • Meets Wednesday right after school (3:20-4:20) in church parlor

  • Kids Group (for more information, click here)

    • Meets Wednesdays following Children's Choir (4:30-5:30)
